Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this fully funded scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be an international graduate student enrolled in a recognized Taiwanese university
  • Applicants must be under 35 years old at the time of application
  • Applications must be submitted through the University’s Office of International Affairs (OIA)
  • Direct applications to the Foundation will not be accepted
  • Applicants who are Rotarians, Rotaractors, or direct descendants of Rotarians are not eligible
  • Students cannot receive any other scholarship during the award period

  • Two completed application forms (with headshots)
  • Autobiography (max 2 pages)
  • Statement of intent (max 3 pages)
  • List of interests, extracurricular activities, public speaking, and community service (max 1 page)
  • Recommendation letter from an academic instructor/advisor
  • Recommendation letter from the Office of International Affairs
  • Academic transcripts
  • Enrollment certificate or valid student ID
  • Copy of passport and visa/ARC
  • Two recent headshots (taken within one year)
  • Research proposal (signed by thesis advisor)
  • Budget proposal
