This fully funded scholarship welcomes international students interested in pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree through research at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Offered by the Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DCSE), the program is designed for talented students who require financial assistance while advancing their academic and research careers.

- Each scholarship is awarded to an individual recipient (no family allowance).

Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Open to students from all countries (ASEAN applicants are given priority).
- Must not hold Indonesian citizenship.
- Minimum English proficiency requirements: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 70, or TOEFL PBT 550.
- Must demonstrate readiness to commit to the full program and maintain good health.
Master’s Program Eligibility
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation from a recognized university (ASEAN-based preferred)
- Minimum GPA: 3.25 / 4.00
- Applicants who already hold a Master’s degree are not eligible
- Proof of good health and commitment to purchase health insurance during the study period
Doctoral Program Eligibility
- Maximum age: 40 years
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation from a recognized university (ASEAN-based preferred)
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 / 4.00
- Applicants who already hold a PhD are not eligible
- Proof of good health and commitment to purchase health insurance during the study period

How to Apply
Applicants should note that the scholarship application process is separate from the admission process. Candidates must first complete university admission at UGM and obtain an admission ID, which is required during scholarship application submission.
