Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
- The fellowship comprises the reservation of a student room in a residence hall and CHF 10,000 every semester.
- The fellowship is awarded for three years to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree and for four semesters to those pursuing a master’s degree (renewal of the fellowship requires students to have completed at least 50 ECTS credits and an overall average of 5,0/6).
Eligibility Criteria
- Based on their academic records, EPFL awards a small number of fellowships to the most deserving individuals.
- They are meant for students who have excelled in both academics and extracurricular activities during their pre-university education.
- Students in their final year of high school must check the appropriate box on their bachelor’s application form and submit the required application file by April 30th in order to be eligible for the Bachelor Excellence Fellowship.
- Candidates must apply online using the same form as when applying to a master’s programme by April 15 or December 15 in order to be eligible for the Master Excellence Fellowship (a box to check indicates that the candidate’s profile should also be considered for an excellence fellowship).
