The Digital Humanism Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for junior and senior visiting fellows to contribute to cutting-edge research on various aspects of digitalization at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna, Austria.
The fellowship invites distinguished scholars from various fields to conduct cutting-edge research on the networked society. Each semester, a senior visiting fellow spends one month at the IWM while two junior fellows conduct their research and collaborate with the senior fellow. Junior fellows are expected to explore digitalization’s impact on society, economy, geopolitics, and related topics from the humanities and social sciences.
Junior fellows will spend three consecutive months at the Institute in autumn 2025, participating in academic activities and engaging with the scholarly community.
