Scholarship Benefits
The KMU Scholarships provide different funding packages based on the applicant’s degree level and academic merit:
- Type A: NTD 200,000 – 260,000/year (covers tuition, accommodation, and monthly stipend)
- Type B: NTD 80,000 – 140,000/year (covers tuition and accommodation)
- Type C: NTD 70,000 – 80,000/year (tuition only)
Elite Scholarship: NTD 300,000/year – awarded to top-tier applicants, including academics from eligible countries.

Eligibility Criteria
For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants
- Must be of foreign nationality and never held R.O.C. citizenship.
- Cannot have been placed by Taiwan’s University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students.
- Additional residency requirements apply for dual nationality holders.
- Must hold a recognized senior high school diploma verified by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.
For Master’s & Ph.D. Applicants
- Must have a bachelor’s degree (for master’s) or master’s degree (for Ph.D.) recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- Diplomas must be verified by the R.O.C. representative office.
- Must meet language requirements (English or Chinese).
