Eligibility Criteria\ Rules to Get Aid
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
- You are a citizen of any non-EU/EEA, Swiss or Surinamese state but you fulfill the conditions allowing you to get the entry visa and residence permission in the Netherlands.
- A dual nation of an EU/EEA country is one of these factors.
- Application for admission to a full time master course in Maastricht University 2025/2026 Academic Year, Participating Programs.
- Since you satisfy the criteria for admission into UM master’s program.
- You were not involved in a Dutch degree seeking institution. Those students who have successfully carried out exchange programs with the country of the Netherlands are encouraged to send their applications.
Your age is below 35 years on 1st September 2025. - As indicated in your last grade transcript or academic excellence certificate, you excelled in all your previous education programs. UM takes into account more than thirty factors when choosing eligible candidates.
- In case of equal candidacy UM prefers those whose transcript or certificates show that they fall into the top five percent of the 2025-2026 scholarship program competition.
