Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have recently completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
  • The applicant must be strongly interested in one of Salzburg Global’s program areas (health, education, peace and justice, etc.).
  • Have proficiency in English (writing and communication skills)
  • Ability to multitask and work flexible hours according to program needs
  • No prior requirement for German language skills
  • Enthusiastic about Salzburg Global’s mission and values
  • Willingness to work in a culturally and professionally diverse environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Interns’ Typical Duties 

The interns’ typical assignments and duties during the Internship Program are as follows:

  • Assist in researching program topics, partners, and participants and compiling biographies
  • Prepare materials for programs and provide event management support
  • Help manage technical aspects during sessions, including sound systems and presentation visuals
  • Offer reliable administrative and operational support to program staff and participants
  • Take notes during online meetings and events
  • Update databases and internal documents and assist with printing, copying, and mailing
