Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have recently completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
- The applicant must be strongly interested in one of Salzburg Global’s program areas (health, education, peace and justice, etc.).
- Have proficiency in English (writing and communication skills)
- Ability to multitask and work flexible hours according to program needs
- No prior requirement for German language skills
- Enthusiastic about Salzburg Global’s mission and values
- Willingness to work in a culturally and professionally diverse environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Interns’ Typical Duties
The interns’ typical assignments and duties during the Internship Program are as follows:
- Assist in researching program topics, partners, and participants and compiling biographies
- Prepare materials for programs and provide event management support
- Help manage technical aspects during sessions, including sound systems and presentation visuals
- Offer reliable administrative and operational support to program staff and participants
- Take notes during online meetings and events
- Update databases and internal documents and assist with printing, copying, and mailing
