Foreign students from developing and recently industrialized nations are eligible to apply for DAAD EPOS Scholarships to study in Germany for a master’s or doctoral degree. Through its postgraduate study programs focused on development, the DAAD encourages the training of experts from developing and recently industrialized nations.
With the support of these scholarships, foreign graduates from developing and newly industrialized nations, with a minimum of two years of work experience, can pursue a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized German university, or in special circumstances, a doctorate degree, and earn a master’s or doctoral degree in Germany.

RULES TO GET AID / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Who can apply?: Graduates with at least two years’ professional experience from the following countries: list of eligible countries
- Eligible Courses: Individual scholarships exclusively for Postgraduate courses in Germany that are listed on the “List of all Postgraduate courses with application deadlines 2024/25”.
AID PACKAGES

Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover - Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.
