ESO stands for European Southern Observatory. It is an intergovernmental organisation made up of 16 European member countries. If you are looking for an internship in Germany, then here is another opportunity. Apply for the European Southern Observatory (ESO) Internship 2024. Eligibility Criteria

  • No nationality is in principle excluded.
  • Candidates currently studying or having recently completed a university degree in science, science communication, engineering, or science journalism are preferred.
  • Interns should have broad knowledge and interest in basic astronomy (e.g., stargazing, how a telescope works, and key astronomical objects).
  • Good knowledge of English and German.
