Fully Funded Master’s Scholarships at ETH Zurich (2025 Entry). ETH Zurich, a world-renowned university in Switzerland, is offering fully-funded scholarships for Master’s programs through the Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Programme (ESOP) for the 2025 academic year.

Who can Apply?

• Academic achievers! You must be ranked in the top 10% of your Bachelor’s program (or equivalent to a Grade A).
• Newcomers to ETH Zurich. You cannot already be enrolled in a Master’s program there.
• Not already holding a Master’s degree.
• Meeting admission requirements for your chosen Master’s program at ETH Zurich.

What Programs are Covered?

The ESOP scholarship is available for all Master’s programs offered by ETH Zurich, including consecutive and specialized programs across various fields.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Tuition fee waiver – you won’t pay tuition!
• Living allowance per semester to cover your living expenses.
• Additional financial support for study materials each semester.

Duration of Scholarship:

The scholarship covers the regular duration of your Master’s program, typically 3 or 4 semesters. Benefits might be paused during exchange semesters at other universities.

Required Documents:

• A pre-proposal for your Master’s thesis, following the given guidelines.
• Curriculum vitae (resume) including an active phone number.
• Any additional documents specific to your chosen program.

Selection Process:

• Applications are evaluated by the Admissions Committee of your chosen program.
• Shortlisted applicants may be invited for a phone or video call interview in February.
• The final selection is made by the Rector of ETH Zurich.
• Results are communicated around the end of March.

Number of Scholarships Awarded:

Approximately 60 scholarships will be awarded, subject to funding availability.
