Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Lanzhou University of Technology President Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- For Bachelor’s degree: Must be a high school graduate under 25 years old.
- For Master’s degree: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- For PhD degree: Must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
- Language Requirements: A valid HSK Level 4 certificate (minimum 200 points) is required for Chinese-taught programs.
Application Process
The application process is completely online and consists of three main steps:
Step 1: Online Application Submission

- Pay the application fee and upload the remittance voucher.
Step 2: Submission of Required Documents
Applicants must submit two copies of the following documents:
- LUT International Student Application Form
- Notarized copy of the highest degree certificate (or pre-graduation certificate for fresh graduates)
- Academic transcripts (translated into English or Chinese)
- Copy of passport (for applicants in China, include a valid visa/residence permit)
- Study Plan (for undergraduate applicants) or Research Proposal (for graduate applicants)
- Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors)
- Proof of No Criminal Record
- Copy of valid HSK Level 4 certificate (for Chinese-taught programs)
- Medical Examination Form for Foreigners
Note: Application materials can be submitted via express mail or through an authorized representative.
Step 3: Interview Process
- Shortlisted applicants will receive an email for an online interview via Skype (Skype ID: study_282).
- Candidates must send their nationality and passport number via Skype before the interview.
- The interview will assess the applicant’s language proficiency, academic background, and overall suitability for the program.
