Mauritius Government announces to deserving students originating from member states of the African Union and its related organizations that in line with their academic year set for 2024, will be offering a meritorious Mauritius Africa scholarship scheme on behalf of the Government of Mauritius.
It caters for undergraduate studies, post gradate degree and PhD study taken on full time basis of public HEI in Mauritius. All interested applicants should make use of this chance.

Rules to Get Aid / Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- The age requirement for undergraduate program is at least 18 years old but not yet attained the 26th birthday as at 01 January 2025.
- By January 2025, an MPhil/PhD applicant shouldn’t be over forty years old.
- An applicant should have also applied before for a full-time on-campus program (Diploma, degree, master’s or phD).
- The scholarship will be for a maximum duration as indicated in the table or the minimum course duration whichever is lesser
Application Process
- The application form, along with supporting documents should be submitted by those who are interested in applying for Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024.
- One will however have to use the application form duly completed.
- An appropriate section for endorsement and completion by home Nominating Agency has been provided accordingly.
- This Scheme, however, requires that an application should be made through the Nominating Agency responsible for scholarship processing in the applicants home country.
