The Pershing Square Foundation provides up to 6 fully funded Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships to international students in 2025. Selected applicants can pursue a master’s degree and an MBA at Oxford University. These scholarships cover both the master’s degree and the MBA year. Students can pursue any of the 1+1 MBA partnering programmes and combine them with our MBA.
Furthermore, students can benefit from on-course opportunities, including conferences, termly events, and scholar community activities. Also, they can benefit from the mentorship opportunities.
The scholarship holders should be exceptional individuals demonstrating the potential and commitment to finding scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship organisers will consider the candidates in order of priority for the scholarship based on the following conditions:
- If they are new applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA program and should get admission to a 1+1 MBA partnering program and to the MBA before to the selection process.
- If the applicant applies to any full-time one-year Master’s course that is not currently part of the official list of 1+1 MBA partnering programs, and to the MBA (as a separate application)
- If they are:
- moving into thier MBA year and have not been selected for the scholarship last year (eg waitlisted/ re-evaluated applicants)
- admitted to the MBA while studying in one of the 1+1 MBA partnering programs

Selection Criteria
The selection committee will consider the following requirements for the students:
- Academic success of the applicants as proved in degree outcomes, GMAT or GRE scores, previous university honors and awards, and other academic successes
- Leadership potential is shown through motivation and experience
- Strong moral character, commitment, and integrity
- Concentrate on addressing global social challenges in your career, either through the creation of a new company or an organization that already exists.
- The capacity to foresee scalable and long-lasting solutions to these problems.
- Articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help you achieve your goals.
Notes: It is advised that candidates emphasise these qualities in their 1+1 MBA applications, scholarship essays, and interview responses.

How to Apply
Candidates must submit a complete application for both courses and upload the scholarship essay in the ‘Funding’ section of the 1+1 MBA programme application.
