PEO International Peace Scholarship for Women: It is a demonstrative need-based scholarship that does not cover tuition fee and other essential costs. The applicant should list further funds that are sufficient to facilitate the cost estimates specified at the commencement of application. Other resources that could be used include self or family sponsored funds as well as tuition waivers, work scholarships, teaching assistantships, study grants and others.

- For a student a maximum sum is given which doesn’t exceed 12,500 dollars. Smaller awards may be provided depending on specific requirements.
Eligibility
- This fund supports women who come from out-of-country to pursue the graduate degree at an accredited institution within USA or Canada. Here the recipients are expected to be returning back to their country for application of the acquired skills towards contributing towards global peace.
- The applicant for the first scholarship has to complete one year of work and study in the school before their departure at the end of the calendar year.
- First-time applicants should not be doctoral students who have completed course work and write only in dissertation.
- Scholarships are also available for international students who attend Cottey College.
- This does not include students from the United States of America or Canada, who are citizens, or hold permanent resident status therein. Note: Allowed is a student with only tax paid residency.
- Online courses, Research for internship and practical training are given scholarship only when they are accompanied by coursework.
