The KAUST Photonics Summer Camp is a 4-week to 4-month research program sponsored by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). It consists of a series of cutting-edge practical research projects in various areas of modern photonics, accompanied by workshops and technical training in the use of state-of-the-art nanofabrication and imaging facilities.
It offers undergraduate and master’s students from all over the world the opportunity to participate in a research project in contemporary photonics fields, such as semiconductor lasers, photonic integrated circuits, quantum technologies, optical communications, neuromorphic computing, and superconducting vision systems.
The camp allows participants to gain hands-on experience in laboratory experiments, obtain a certificate of knowledge on modern nanofabrication tools, attend workshops with students and entrepreneurs, and participate in exciting field trips.
