1) UTS Scholarship in the Netherlands
This scholarship is for master’s level degree programs all over the world. As mentioned above in the beginning۔
The scholarship will only provide you with a tuition-free scholarship, based on your previous academic record. The UTS scholarships will range from € 3,000 – € 22,000.
2) Kipaji Scholarship
You need to apply for a UTS if you want to be eligible for the Kipaji Scholarship.
The Kipaji Scholarship Fund is designed specifically for talented students from emerging economies.
This scholarship means additional support for UTS Scholarship students. The value of this scholarship is up to €12,000.
Benefits
This scholarship is fully funded and provides the recipient with the following financial benefits:
- € 3,000–€ 22,000 for one year.
- In the case of a two-year study programme, students may receive an additional UTS of the same amount as the first year to cover the second year’s expenses. However, the scholarship will be continued during the second year only on the condition that candidates meet the requirements process for UTS.
Candidates must have obtained:
- At the end of the third quartile of the first year, an average grade of 7 (out of 10).
- At the end of the third quartile of the first year, at least 50% of European credits.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a UTS, candidates must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- The process of applying for a UT scholarship is different from the University of Twente’s course admission application process. Funding is not withstanding; you must first obtain an admission letter.
- You have been provisionally accepted into a qualifying UT Master programme, to begin in September of the academic year 2025. Please be aware that you might not receive the results for up to eight weeks after completing your application.
- Your student number is a necessity.
- You are not a graduate of the University of Texas.
- You meet the requirements (if any) for getting a visa to enter the Netherlands.
- You meet the requirements of the general English language test. Academic IELTS 6.5 plus an extra 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) or TOEFL iBT of 90 on the subscore of speaking skills
- Eligibility for a Dutch student loan is not present.
- Recipients of the University Twente Scholarship are exceptional students. This usually indicates that you are in the top 5–10% in your class.
