This is an opportunity to get a volunteer job in Luxembourg (a European country) in 2024, including accommodation and salary, with the provision of a Schengen visa letter. The volunteers in Luxembourg will be part of a youth centre in the city of Marienthal, whose mission is to help young people create their films and photos and increase their awareness of media content. It is a non-formal educational institution that offers activities for young people from 4 to 27 years old. The learning-by-doing approach allows volunteers and young people to experiment with different media and take responsibility for their projects. Volunteers will supervise children during media activities and help them create their films and photos. During their stay at the volunteer organisation, volunteers are asked to create their projects based on cinematography or photography. Furthermore, volunteers will use different editing programmes used by the volunteer organisation.
During the volunteer activities and service, the volunteer will be able to participate in training courses and will be accompanied by a team of permanent employees.

Selection Criteria
The volunteer must be fluent in German. Interest in creating media content such as photos, films or animations. The volunteer must be comfortable working with children and young people, as most of the role involves guiding children and young people in media activities. The volunteer must be passionate about film, photography, and/or graphic design. Basic knowledge is an advantage.
