The University of Padua provides financial support to Italian and international students through the Veneto Region Scholarships. This scholarship supports low-income students enrolling at all study levels, including Bachelor’s, Single-cycle, or Master’s degrees and Ph.D. courses.
Students enrolled at the University of Padua for the academic year 2024/25 with appropriate economic and merit requirements may compete for regional scholarships.
The University of Padua releases this Call for applications for the assignment of scholarships for talented and deserving students without financial resources within the scope of the Veneto Region’s yearly Plan for the Implementation of the Right to University Education for the academic year 2024/25. The scholarship’s goal is to assist students in covering their living expenses for at least ten months of each academic year.

What should the applicants expect as participants in the Veneto Region Scholarships?
- Amount of scholarship: This amount will include the tuition fee exemption, subsistence allowance, and free or discounted student services like accommodation, meals at university canteens, and more. The scholarship amount differs according to the student’s family income and other conditions specified in the Call.
- Payments Dates: First-year enrolled students shall receive the scholarship amount in two installments, the first by the end of December 2024 and the second by the end of the month after gaining 20 CFU by 10 August 2025.
Students enrolled in subsequent years to the first might receive the amount in one installment by the end of December 2024. - Scholarships Duration: scholarships are available for one academic year, provided that the student meets certain conditions, including educational achievements, number of credits, etcetera. The request is extendable every academic year.

Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply for the Veneto Region Scholarships at the University of Pauda? Any student who meets the below criteria can apply for this scholarship:
- Applicants must provide a low family income by providing an equivalent economic status index (ISEE) below 26,306.25 euros and an ISPE below 42,192.96 euros.
- They should have received an admission letter from one of the University of Padua degree courses or D. courses.
- Comply with the Italian visa conditions to enter the country
- Do not receive a scholarship or grant from any other national or international organization
- Meet all the academic, merit, and other additional requirements of the Call
- International students enrolled in the first year for the first time in 2024/25 are eligible based on submitting their ISEE/ISEE Parificato by 30 November 2024.
- Applicants who already hold a degree from an Italian university or abroad of the same or higher study level are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Candidates who have received the scholarship in a previous course of study at the same level as the currently enrolled course and have not repaid the enjoyed benefit are not eligible.
How to Apply
To be eligible for the scholarship, complete all the following steps by 30 September 2024:
- Submit and confirm your Application for Benefits in Uniweb (including mid-year registrants).
- Obtain the ISEE Parificato certificate (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for university education benefits.
- Enroll for the 2024/25 academic year by paying the first fee installment (first-year students must complete enrollment by the date specified in the admission call).
