Applications are open for the Tokyo Institute of Technology International Graduate Programme! Students should be able to find a department to further their research, acquire broader knowledge and understanding, and conduct advanced long-term research in a field that best matches their interests and background. This programme involves a diverse group of 18 academic departments.

This programme has no Japanese language requirement because all lectures and seminars are in English. Eligible overseas students with little or no Japanese language experience can enrol in Tokyo Tech’s Master’s, Doctoral, or Integrated Doctoral Education Programme and pursue an advanced degree in Japan. Students are also regularly offered the opportunity to attend Japanese language sessions to better adjust to daily life in Japan.
