Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the HUST CSC Scholarship Program, applicants must meet these requirements:

  • Must be a non-Chinese international applicant.
  • Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old.
  • PhD applicants must hold a master's degree and be under 40 years old.
  • All previous degrees must be equivalent to Chinese academic qualifications.
  • Required English proficiency scores include:
    • GRE General: 310+
    • TOEFL: 80
    • IELTS: 6.0
    • Equivalent certifications may also be accepted.

The application process is entirely online and involves the following steps:

  1. Visit the CSC Online Portal
  2. Select Scholarship Type B and enter Agency Number: 10487.
  3. Complete and submit the CSC application.
  4. Apply separately through the Official HUST University Application Portal.
  5. Pay the non-refundable application fee of 600 CNY to validate your submission.
