Texas Tech University Freshman Presidential Scholarship Program 2024: Presidential Scholarships are given to incoming first-year students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance based on their class standing and test results. Half of the annual award money goes toward the autumn and half goes toward the spring terms. You are also eligible to pay in-state tuition if you are a non-resident who has been given a Presidential Scholarship. For students enrolled by April 15th, all merit prizes are certain; admittance beyond this date is contingent only on these grants being available.

Requirements

Any further presidential scholarship offers are superseded if a student qualifies for one presidential scholarship through the TTU Presidential Scholarship program. The Presidential Merit Scholarship is limited to study programs at Texas Tech University. Scholarships from Texas Tech University are not transferable to Angelo State University, Texas Tech Costa Rica, or the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). When you submit an application for admission to a TTUHSC program of study, you will have the chance to be considered for TTUHSC scholarships.
